Web(HTML) management interfaces enable both non-technical and professional users to easily handle their network management and maintenance task. By pointing and clicking on the browser, it allows the user to view the network topology and every MeshAP Access Point's configuration and status, including traffic count, user number, link signal quality, error count, and event logs. SNMP private MIBs are available for advanced users preferring to manage through their own network manager.

Setting up a mesh manager unit with ArrowSpan’s MeshAPs is effortless.  Every MeshAP is designed with built-in web (HTML) based GUI management. There is no need to purchase or license additional management software, controllers or servers.  Arrowspan’s flexible management solution  allows any MeshAP access point to be configured as the Mesh Manager unit or the Mesh Station unit.  Once the mesh manager is configured, it can manage the rest of the Station nodes on the mesh network.

User friendly: ArrowSpan’s user friendly application allows administrators to learn, manage and control the software effortlessly.  It is also suitable for individuals without an extensive technical background.

Easy and Flexible:  Any ArrowSpan MeshAP Wi-Fi Mesh Network Access Point can be configured into a Mesh Manager unit.  Each unit is equipped with the necessary software, allowing it to serve as the manager or the station unit, depending on how an administrator sees fit.

Topology: The topology remote feature provides full network management and monitoring functionality.  Access to all associated nodes is granted via the topology feature.  It is the main management component allowing for configuration, operation statistics, administrative access and user preferences to be set.  Much like a family tree, every “child” station can be managed via its parent, allowing administrators to deploy changes across a vast numbers of nodes without much effort or time.       

Administration passwords:  Multiple administrators can be assigned different passwords and layers of privileges. 

Remote firmware update: The ability to download the latest firmware version, ensures that each node within the wireless mesh network is fully updated. Being able to do so from a single location, allows for the adjustment  and security upgrading of the node,  contributing to the firmware uniformity across the Wi-Fi mesh. 

Real time monitoring:  Provides at-a-glance monitoring of the status of all the nodes in the network, including the radio signal strength, throughput performance and noise.  Node error can also be detected immediately, as well as the location and the severity of the problem.

Fast page load time:  ArrowSpan’s user friendly, text-based software optimizes the page loading time, significantly decreasing the amount of time between a user’s click and the display of the browser’s finished content.  This decrease in latency allows for the management of numerous access points in a limited time spans.

Reliability: Extensive testing guarantees that the software will be up and running at all times. Given that it is web based, it allows for easy access from any given browser, with a crash-free assurance.

No extra software: ArrowSpan’s unique design assimilates the software into every single MeshAP access point, therefore eliminating the need for costly controllers or servers.
